The popular high street retailer has slashed the prices across the footwear aisle, with budget-friendly buys starting from as little as £6.

One such stylish option, for instance, is a pair of basic black boots with a chunky platform - a trend that will never go out of style and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

These, the store shared in their video, are now selling for 50 per cent less, going from £20 to £10, making them the ultimate bargain you shouldn't sleep on.

Then we, the team at Fabulous, reckon Primark's knee high boots with an intricate snake print are a must, as they will instantly make any dull outfit look a hundred times better.

According to the retailer, shoppers can now bag a pair for £15, saving themselves £5 off the original price.

However, if high heels are not really your forte and you prefer comfort over style, don't worry - these are plenty of other options to choose from.

Primark have also now slashed the price tags for other chunky boots, including a trendy cream-coloured pair going for £6 (RRP £11), as well as well as a similar style pair in black selling for £7.

Other bargain buys now landing on shelves include a chunky heeled white pair of boots on half price scanning for £10 and a more sexy pointy heel that's now £10 instead of the original £18.

One customer, Mel, from Manchester, was so stunned by the hefty price tag, she ''nearly fell on the floor'' and took to TikTok to inform others about the not-so-bargain deals.

After strolling around the local store, the 24-year-old style lover stumbled across a sleeveless maxi dress in the Rita Ora x Primark range.

The basic wardrobe staple featured a crew neck and came in black - much like the figure-hugging dresses available at SKIMS for around £80.

But after inspecting the deal, Mel was totally gobsmacked to find out that the figure-hugging frock was selling for an astronomical £100.

''Primark? £100 in Primark? Never thought I'd see the day.

''Nearly fell on the floor!! I walked past it and thought Oh, it’s nice..does that say only £10?! WAIT £100?!' '' she added.

''Primark x Rita Ora, count your days.''

Needless to say, it wasn't just Mel who couldn't believe the price, as close to 200 people raced to comments to share their thoughts.

One former fan of the store said: ''Primark has been a bit too bold with their prices lately.''

Another wondered if the store was, perhaps, taking part in a competition with their ''insane'' prices.
