I didn’t want to fork out hundreds for a new front door but a 99p Shein buy & a lick of paint worked wonders

A WOMAN has been praised after showing how she transformed her front door for less than £50.

Haf explained in a video on TikTok that she had been thinking about getting a new front door, but couldn't really afford it.

So she decided to attempt a makeover on it herself, which she began by giving the door a good clean.

She then used filler in any cracks or holes she could, before she got going with the painting process.

"Here's the colour I went for - I chose pink," Haf said.

"It's UPVC paint too and I was really impressed with it but I did do about three coats.

"I think just because the colour was quite light."

She finished off the transformation with a gold door number she got from Shein for just 99p, and a stunning spring wreath she made herself.

"I'm really happy with the results for less than £50," Haf concluded.

"Paint my front door with me," she captioned the video.

"Let me know what you think!"

And the comments section was immediately filled with people praising Haf for a job well done, as one wrote: "It looks lovely - paint the frame too!"

"I honestly didn’t know you could paint a plastic door! Giving me ideas!" another added.

To which Haf admitted: "I was looking to buy a whole new door but just couldn’t afford to.

"So just an affordable way of changing it!!

"Plus this paint had a primer in too so was just much easier."

"What filler did you use please?" someone else asked.
