I forked out £120 for a mystery pallet – I was gobsmacked when I opened it up & realised it’s 10 times that

THERE'S no better feeling than splashing out on something - only to then realise the value is significantly higher.

This is exactly what happened to one woman, Emily Canham, who forked out £120 for a mystery pallet at an auction and was later stunned to discover it was ten times that.

The lucky shopper, from London, decided to take a risk and bag a box of electrical goods from auctioneers William George, which contained different items returned by customers.

This is not the first time the dark-haired beauty has purchased similar boxes - and Emily has previously hit the jackpot after finding the cult favourite Dyson products that hadn't been used, reported Daily Mail.

In the video shared on YouTube where she showed off the monster haul, the Londoner said she hoped to see a coffee machine - and much to her surprise, it was her lucky day.

''I'm so nervous! In the past I've had some real wins. I've had a couple of Dyson Airwraps, some Dyson hairdryers.

''I actually got my Sage coffee machine in one of these. It's in storage right now, but before I used it every day and it's in perfect working order.''

Amongst the bargain goodies she got her hands on was the viral ghd Creative Curl Wand, which usually sells for around £159.

I can’t believe pretty much everything works as well

After putting the product to test, Emily said it worked perfectly - which means that with the first product alone, the delighted beauty loved had already got the money's worth from the £120 pallet.

Next up, the influencer, whose YouTube channel boasts over a million of subscribers, pulled out ghd flight travel hairdryer.

Although this handy item retails for close to £100, Emily admitted that it, unfortunately, looked a ''little damaged''.

Other bargain goodies that were sitting in the carboard box included  Lavazza milk frother (RRP £60), as well as Babyliss hair curler, which tends to go for around £35.

We bought a HUGE Amazon returns pallet for £530 and it was jammed with £3.7Ks worth of goodies - but I had no clue what some of the items even were

''This looks like quite a large one. Not my vibe, but although it looks like it's been opened there are no signs of actual use on the device or hair. I assume this is a return.''

The following item in the successful haul was a Delonghi Coffee Grinder which fellow shoppers can snap up for around £40 and Emily reckoned that it has never been used.

The London-based content creator also found a Babyliss Star Power Performance clipper, which sells for £90, and a Nespresso Vertuo Pop coffee machine (RRP £100) and both products were said to work perfectly.

Particularly excited Emily was with the next find - Dreamland heated blanket (RRP £100), which is perfect for the chilly and rainy summer ahead.

'I've always wanted one of these, it's a bit ugly. My friend has one of these and I always use it when I'm at her house and it's the most comforting thing. I think these are a couple of hundred pounds.''

Quick guide to buying return pallets

Here's where to buy the most popular return pallets:

The fabulous haul didn't end there, as Emily also got her hands on Shark Air Purifier, which is being sold online for an eye-watering £100.

Despite initially being concerned it wouldn't work as she heard items rattling in the box, the YouTuber was pleased to see she was wrong.

The massive pallet had a second section that was full of other electrical goodies, such as a steamer and some irons.

Here, she bagged the Tefal Express Essential iron (RRP £130), the Tefal Ultimate, which retails for £100, as well as two Duux ThreeSixity 2 Ceramic Heater which cost £85 each.

Other electrical goods included a Tefal steamer that costs around £114, a mini food processor from Cuisinart that goes for around £60, a Babyliss Advanced Power Styling tool, which you can order online for £75, and a Delonghi HSX portable heater, which retails for £80.

In total, all of the products Emily received were worth close to a whopping £1,450 - what a win!

''I think we did really well, I think the ghd ones were amazing finds, I think those heaters were amazing, we even got a freakin' Nespresso,'' Emily was all chuffed with her success.

Her video, which has so far been viewed more than 117k times, has clearly impressed many, as fellow YouTube users raced to comments.
