Shoppers race to grab £12.50 scent that smells exactly like Coco Chanel

WE ALL want to smell our best, but designer perfumes can often cost an arm and a leg.

With prices of most goods still on the increase, it's no surprise so many high-street stores are creating dupes of the luxury brands, and we're not complaining about it.

That means some of our favourite pricey scents are now a fraction of the price, and beauty fans have spotted yet another designer perfume dupe available.

Many have hailed the perfume from M&S as a dupe of Coco Chanel - which usually retails for £136 for a 100ml bottle.

However, the supermarket dupe is a fraction of the price at £12.50 for the same amount.

The perfume from the Intense range at M&S is called Orange Blossom and Amber.

"Lovely fresh perfume - and at such a great price - gorgeous."

One reviewer wrote

Notes of the cheap perfume are described as a 'unique blend of freshness and warmth' and features notes of fruity mimosa and peach combined with spicy amber for a deep and lasting scent.

And it looks like they aren't too dissimilar from Chanel's.

Their website reads: "The fragrance opens with a citrus note of Sicilian Mandarin, and reveals a voluptuous heart of Jasmine Absolute, heightened with touches of Ylang-Ylang from the Comoros and Tunisian Orange Blossom.

"A captivating harmony that leaves behind a vibrant trail of Indonesian Patchouli, Tonka note and Benzoin."

The stylish bottle wouldn't look out of place on any dressing table and it'll save you £123.50 compared to the real deal.

It'll also make the perfect Valentine's Day gift.

But if Coco isn't your go-to scent, there are plenty of other options available in M&S.

One woman found three more dupes from the retailer and she praised: "These are the best dupes I’ve ever found of my favourite perfumes and for only £6 each. Well done Marks and Spencer."

Also in the collection was Red Berries & Rose, which is a dupe for Armani's Si.

White Coconut which is a copy of The White Company’s Seychelles fragrance, and Gardenia & Vanilla, which she claimed is an 'amazing copy' of Marc Jacobs Daisy.

The Orange Blossom and Amber perfume seemed to be a hit with customers who raved about the fragrance online.

One person wrote: "Lovely perfume. Smells quite like Coco Chanel. Really good value perfume."

Another commented: "Love this fragrance! I’ve told all my family & friends who usually wear Coco Chanel to try it as a cheap daily alternative. It’s gorgeous, albeit doesn’t last as long as a designer expensive eau de parfum."

"Bargain gorgeous eau de toilette. Lovely fresh perfume - and at such a great price - gorgeous," penned a third.

Meanwhile a fourth said: "Lovely smell. Unfortunately doesn't long. But for the price just top it up.''

"Lovely fresh perfume - and at such a great price - gorgeous,” claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: "So refreshing lovely and light no to strong but lasts."
