I bought my teenager what I thought was a cute fairy top – then I realised my very racy mistake
A MUM has been left mortified after discovering the racy mistake she made when buying her teen a cute top for Christmas.
She explained that she wanted to share a "PSA for the Christmas shopping parents" following her epic error.
In a video on TikTok, she said she'd picked up the Named Collective zip-up top for her daughter last year.
And she thought it was even cuter after seeing the zips, which she thought were "fairies".
However, it turns out the zips were actually "strippers".
"And on deeper inspection, the whole pattern is strippers!" she said.

"Took me 11 months to notice!" she added in the caption.
The white and grey camo hoodie - which retails for £80 - features "unrealistic ideals" written across the chest and the "original design made entirely out of girls", according to the Named Collective website.
"PSA - teen clothes," she wrote over the top of the video.
People were quick to comment, with one asking: "Has she been wearing it?"
"Yes, often and I’ve washed it many times," the mum replied.
"No idea how it took me so long to notice!"
"It took me 4 watches to spot what u were talking about," another wrote.
"So easy to not notice!"
"Took me 11 months to notice!" she responded.
"i thought it was camo till you said," a third wrote.
"HELP I DIDNT REALISE THE PATTERN UNTIL SHE POINTED IT OUT," another admitted.
"The way my jaw dropped. I thought it was camouflage," someone else laughed.
"I did the exact same as you," another mum said.
"Took me after 2 hours of her wearing in I realised."
"I thought the zipper were unicorns," someone else giggled.
As another commented: "I bought some camouflage trainers, took 3 months to realise they were dinosaurs I was excited."
"my mum brought me a blue bag because it had a playboy bunny on it...closer look and it had playboy photos on of all the stars too," someone else admitted.
"They’re in silhouette. How do you know they’re 'strippers' and not just people?" another asked.
To which the mum responded: "They are provocative silhouettes and if I Google stripper hoodie these are the first hit!"
"It’s not meant to be sexual it’s just the print, Named Collective is the brand not all their hoodies have this design," someone else insisted.
As another insisted: "I don't see them strippers, just women celebrating their bodies....even if they were, it's a legit job!"
"So what, use your head?" someone else hit back.
"Lmao what mother wants her child dressed in provocative imagery."
