Before heading on a break Alison, 48, told viewers they'd be speaking to rapper Tinie Tempah about his new renovations show.

Playing the background was the explicit version of his hit Pass Out - with viewers rushing to social media to comment.

One wrote: "I’m sure #ThisMorning has just played Tinie Tempah saying ‘f******’ at 11:31am."

Another said: "Naughty naughty. 'f******' before 12pm on #thismorning."

After the break Dermot told viewers: "Welcome back to This Morning and apologies for that swear word you might have heard just before the break."

It's not the first time Dermot has been forced to apologise for explicit language this week.

On Thursday's show he and Josie Gibson spoke to Diane Carson from The Traitors.

Retired teacher Diane, 63, appeared on the BBC reality show with videographer son Ross, 28 - though the connection between them still hasn't been discovered by the remaining players.

Diane revealed how her son nearly gave the game away within minutes of the show starting.

She told Dermot and Josie: "He made a mistake within two minutes of getting on the train.

"He was going to say he was from Blackpool which allowed me to say Lytham then I wouldn't have to lie, and Johnny came in and said 'what's your name? Ta da da, where're you from?' And he said 'Lytham'.

"And I went 's**t', and then Johnny said 'where are you from?' and I said 'Ireland'."

Josie looked momentarily panicked while Dermot hesitated before saying: "It doesn't sound like great Faithful-like language to me. I can only apologise. Rude."
