Diane’s famous Game Of Thrones son confirms massive The Traitors twist
THE Traitors has returned for a second series - and it comes with a huge twist that will shock fans.
The 22 brand new contestants arrived at the Scottish castle on launch night after winning a spot on the hit BBC show.
When casting began for the first series 3,000 people applied, however that number had risen to a staggering 130,000 when casting started for the second series.
Among the final line-up is retired teacher Diane, 63, who lives in Lancashire but hails from Northern Ireland.
She left an impression on host Claudia Winkleman, and was picked as a "potential traitor" after leaving army officer Harry, 22, terrified with her line of questioning.
And now her famous son has confirmed she may have a bigger role in the cloak and dagger show.

The Game of Thrones actor spoke about seeing his mum on the hugely popular series.
Sharing Diane's official promo shot, TV star Kerr Logan wrote on Instagram: "My mother is on the traitors.
"My mother is on the traitors. My mother is on the traitors. She’s bonkers. I’m scared."
Following his tweet, another viewer replied to his post and said: "Your brother too??!!"
Kerr then appeared to confirm the fan's theory that Diane’s SON is also on the show, by replying: "Shhhhh..."
Other viewers have also spotted a resemblance between Ross and Diane.
Another asked Kerr on X/Twitter: "OK but do you happen to have a brother who's also on?"
And a third said: "ROSS AND DIANE OH MY GOD???? I YELLED."
A fourth said: "WAIT DIANE IS ROSS'S MUM!!!??!!!?!!?!!"
Ross' brother Kerr starred in series one of Game of Thrones and played Matthos Seaworth, the son of Davos Seaworth played by Liam Cunningham.
He was most recently seen in Paramount+ drama series The Killing Kind, in which he played DS Luke Nash.
"I'm very good at motivating," she admitted. "I've discovered over the years that I can either raise an atmosphere or bring it down."
Like her other fellow contestants, Diane wants to use her skills from school to her advantage.
She said: "As a teacher at a PRU I've had to use tactics to get control of a classroom. I'd use humour a lot, and you had to know when to pick your battles."
Last night Harry, Ash and Paul won a squeeze on the shoulder from host Claudia Winkleman, marking them as traitors within the group.
Diane, Andrew, Miles and Sonia, were also selected as "potential traitors", with viewers finding out in episode 2 who has been picked to play the fourth rotter.
The action returned to Ardross Castle near Inverness, but there were several notable changes from last year.
The show began with Claudia asking the contestants to line up with the people most likely to win one end, and those least likely to win at the other.
They were terrified because, at the start of the 2022 show, two people at one end of the line were immediately sent home, but in this case the producers were just taunting them and after lining up they were all allowed into the castle.
Claudia also asked each of the contestants, one-on-one, whether they actually wanted to be a traitor or a faithful before the selection process began.
Ranging in age from 21 to 67, they include a chess player, two vets, a pair of military men, a clairvoyant and a disability model.
The game of deceit and loyalty sees them battle to rack up a cash jackpot of up to £120,000 through a series of tasks performed in teams.
But the secret traitors can one by one “murder” the faithfuls by selecting then sending them home in the middle of the night.
The remaining faithful only find out who’s gone the next day at breakfast and it’s up to them to determine who the traitors are and get rid of them before they can claim the cash for themselves.
Viewers watched as the team secured £15,000 for the prize pot.
Claudia revealed amongst the missions will be hidden shields which once collected, would protect the player from murder that evening, but not banishment.
