Everyone think my 51-year-old mum is my sister because she looks so young – she’s been doing her 4 top tips for 30 years
A DAUGHTER has revealed her mums ‘secret’ skincare routine that has her getting mistaken for her sister.
Aylen Park’s mum is 51 years old, but is always getting mistaken for someone who is much younger due to her wrinkle free face.
And some make think she has spent a fortune on her skincare, but really it’s down to four simple steps that she has been doing since being in her twenties.
Aylen, 22, took to YouTube to share her mum's top tips which made her “mum look good” at 51, and she has since gone viral.
Double cleansing
Aylen revealed that her mum makes sure she does a double cleanse with an oil based one, as well as a regular cleanser as it helps to get rid of excess dirt and oils.
Experts believe that oil cleansers work because it bonds to the oils and dirt on your skin, whilst also acting as a barrier to protect your skin and keep it well moisturised.

Dr David Lortscher, a board-certified dermatologist, believes that double cleansing will help to clean and address certain areas.
He believes that the first cleanser will “break down any makeup, removing dirt from the day,” then the second cleanse “will address particular skin types or concerns.”
Applying SPF
Aylen goes on to say that her mum has applied sunscreen every single day, and she always includes the neck and chest.
According to the Skin Cancer Foundation studies show that regular daily use of SPF 50 sunscreen “can reduce your risk of developing squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) by about 40 percent, and lower your melanoma risk by 50 percent.”
They also claim that it will “help prevent premature skin ageing caused by the sun, including wrinkles, sagging and age spots.”
Sleep position
Aylen’s mum’s third tip is to make sure she always sleeps on her back as it “helps prevent breakouts and wrinkles on her face.”
Sleeping on your side or on your stomach means constant pressure on your face, so avoid this by turning on your back.
According to Debra Jaliman, MD, a New York City-based dermatologist and author of "Skin Rules," adding constant pressure to your face can produce unwanted sleep lines.
Food
Aylen explains that her mum's final tip is “eating lots and lots of Kimchi, it’s high in nutrients and antioxidants.”
According to experts Kimchi, a fiery blend of fermented cabbage, nurtures digestion whilst also reducing inflammation.
It has a high antioxidant content, which may slow down the process of ageing.
Aylen has become a social media sensation for her anti-ageing hacks and timeless skin care tips.
Many people often rush to the comments section to share their thoughts.

And in another video she shared, Aylen tested out laminated eyebrows on her mum to see if it would help shave some years from her face - and according to fans it did.
Aylen’s mum, who is from Korea, is often mistaken for a 30-year-old due to her flawless and glowy skin.
Brow lamination is a semi-permanent treatment where a variety of different solutions straighten the hairs and fix them into place, similar to a hard-wearing gel.
Aylen noted that her mum is “missing a lot of eyebrow hair”, which her mum put down to ageing.
