People are just realising B&M bags have a secret function and it’s ‘totally changed their life’
WE all know that annoying feeling when you’ve packed your carrier bags, get it all in the car then drive off, only for it to fall out in the boot.
But shoppers are claiming that there is a secret function to prevent this from happening on the B&M bags - and shoppers are only just realising.
Masey Elizabeth, 25, was one of the supermarket fans to claim to have recently discovered this.
She shared it on her TikTok page @maseyelizabethxx and it has since gone viral with over 516,000 views.
Masey revealed that she was “today years old when” she “realised B&M bags do this.”
In the caption of the video, she wrote: “Stop it! Did anyone else know this?”

In the video, Masey demonstrated how it was done.
She first started off by getting the carrier bag, finding the end pieces of the orange straps which are inside the bag.
Masey, who owns her own Wax Melts company called Waxmelts By MB, then licks them and sticks the otherside of the straps onto the wet side.
Masey, who also regularly uploads on her wax business TikTok page @waxmeltsbymb, then shows the camera that the bags are stuck together by the straps.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, she said: “I discovered it when I was packing away my shopping from B&M and had some dog toys that I didn’t want my pups seeing.
“So I thought it would be great if there was a way of sealing it.
“I know any normal person would have just tied the handles or taped it, but I just thought surely you can lick and stick plastic, and that was that.
“I have also used it as a way of stopping things falling out in the car and to stop people seeing the items in the bag when shopping when you have ‘private’ items.”
Many shoppers couldn’t believe the ‘secret’ hack and rushed to the comments section of her video to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “You’ve just changed my life.”
Whilst another asked: “And just what were you doing to realise this?”
Masey replied: “Just packing my shopping away.”
