A video of her manicure process was shared on TikTok, and showed how the nails were glued on upside down to give the effect of scoops.

"When you have to get your nails upside down because it's too hard to type on the computer when the nails are in the way," was written over the top of the clip.

Once the nails had been glued on, the nail tech started applying the acrylic.

"Y'all see that curve!" she added.

The tech then filed the nails down into the shape that was wanted, before the woman added that she "couldn't wait" until they were painted.

However, people in the comments section were divided as to whether or not they approved of the design.

With many people insisting they looked even worse than "duck nails" - with the nail is wider at the top than at the base.

"DUCK NAILS WAS ENOUGH!" one wrote.

"And you PAID for this?!" another added.

"Or- get press ons, get a manicure or just get short nails," a third commented.

"I just don't wear nails at that point," someone else insisted.

"Lowkey reminds me of the teen wolf claws…" another admitted.

"At first they reminded me of quavers,"someone else said.

"I was trying to trust the process but…" another wrote.

But others admitted they loved the finished look.

"And the best part is that they look amazing," one wrote.

"Wait no these kinda ate," another added.

"Never thought of this such a good idea !!!" a third commented.
