BBC Breakfast presenters clock in at 6:30 am, meaning they have to rise and shine at a brutal 3 am.

In contrast, Morning Live doesn't kick off until 9:30 am on BBC One.

Gethin replied: "Jon, I'm here on Thursday and Friday as well!"

To which Jon responded: "Touché! Touché!"

Helen and Gethin couldn't stop laughing at Jon's teasing, finding it absolutely hilarious.

This isn't the first time the BBC trio have come to odds on-air before.

Missing' BBC Breakfast host returns to show - but is upstaged by Sally Nugent's 'sensational' outfit

In January, Helen hit back at Jon live on air ahead of Morning Live's shake-up after a swipe from the star.

At the time, Morning Live announced it's new start time - 9:30am and that it would run for 75 minutes each weekday.

And, ahead of the first show of 2024, BBC Breakfast's Jon and Sarah Campbell crossed live to the Salford-based studio.

Gethin and Helen nce again got teased.

Jon playfully asked if their late start time now means they get bit longer in bed each day.
