People always ask me how I get my lawn looking so lush – it’s easy to get it perfect if you follow my 6 part hack
A GARDENING fan has shared his six part hack for getting his lawn looking lush and healthy in time for summer.
Canadian broadcaster Roz Weston shared his tips via a video posted to his TikTok channel.
The 49 year old revealed that he is always getting asked how he manages to get his lawn looking so perfect, and shared the exact process he uses to achieve it.
Roz revealed that the first step is to take your lawn mower down as low as it will grow, and trim the grass "almost down to the dirt".
"Don't worry, your grass is going to be fine, it loves this", he said.
Next Roz aerates his lawn by punching holes into it.

To do this, you can use an aerator, or just a garden fork.
Aerating your lawn helps with drainage and allows air and nutrients to get to the grass roots, which makes the grass grow thicker.
Roz's third tip is to cover the lawn with sand and then use a rake to rake it into the grass.
"You want the grass to stand up through the sand, so keep working it in", he explained.
After this, he gives the lawn a good watering.
Next, Roz throws grass seed (which you can buy from Amazon for £6.99) onto the lawn, to allow new grass to grow.
He then covers the lawn with peat moss which he explained "holds an incredible amount of water, which keeps the seed moist".
Roz then waters his lawn a second time.
After this, Roz fertilises his lawn, using a starter fertiliser, which he said helped the grass to "explode".
Sharing clips of his immaculate lawn, Roz said: "It's a lot of work, but it's so worth it".
Roz's video, which was posted under the username @rozweston, has likely left many impressed, as it has gone viral, racking up 14.2 million likes on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the comments section of Roz's video to share their thoughts on his gardening tips.
