A LAWN expert has dished the details on keeping grass green, even with a four-legged friend running around.

The green thumb spilled their tip for addressing stains that can happen from dog urine.

A pro at Stage and Design Co. (@stageanddesignco) gave their advice for fixing any accidents in a viral video on TikTok.

The lawn care hack took just two purchases to fix the unsightly look of peed-on grass.

The spot on the lawn was clearly browned due to the rookie mistake.

Dog urine contains nitrogen, which can kill grass and make the yard look unkempt.

The pros first pointed out the spot, taking out their secret weapons to tackle the problem.

"You will need soil and grass seed," they said.

The expert used a small shovel to dig up the area where the grass had turned brown.

They recommended placing new soil after digging out the dead grass, adding grass seed, covering it with more soil, and watering the area well.
