In a recent clip on TikTok, they took part in a recent trend as they said "We're a homeschool family, of course we..."

Firstly, Amber said: "We're a homeschool family, of course we have 11 kids."

"We're a homeschool family, of course we go everywhere together," 13-year-old Noah said as he carried one of his younger siblings as the family headed into a local store.

"Of course we look like we've stepped out of a Jane Austen novel," 15-year-old Naomi continued, as she sported a long green dress.

"Of course we have a 15-passenger van," Amber's other half said as they all piled into their "Happy Caravan".

The family also said they were "preppers", and their Costco bill comes to $500 (£394).

"Of course we have books in the kitchen cabinet," 11-year-old Anna said, as her sister revealed they're always making homemade cookies.

And the family are all musical, as they proved by all playing instruments to conclude the video.

"We’re a homeschool family…if you know you know," Amber captioned the clip.

However, people weren't too sure about their family setup, with many slamming them for "parentifying" their older kids.

I'm about to be a mum-of-four with two under one - my man's in his element but people tell me to give my body 'a break'

"Of COURSE we parentify the eldest daughter!" one wrote, sarcastically.

"Of course we make our oldest kids do all the childcare," another added.

"Of course my older kids have to take care of my younger ones as if they were the parents," a third said.

"Of COURSE our oldests are raising our youngests," someone else commented.

"Of course we the oldest siblings are expected to raise the younger ones because the mum can’t keep her legs shut," another raged.

"There’s no possible way that you two parents can spend enough quality time with each kid," someone else said.

"Your kids shouldn’t be raising their siblings!"

And others just weren't sure about the general vibe about the family.

"You're a homeschool family, of course the vibes are rotten and weird," one said.

"My worst nightmare," another said.

"I used to teach at a homeschool cooperative," a third admitted.

"Let me tell you, their futures involve soooo much therapy!"

"Sounds like prison, controlling, restrictive and a dictatorship - very sad," someone else wrote.

As another said: "Sad they are missing so much by not going to school & meeting new people & having experiences."

But some people were quick to defend Amber, her husband and kids.

"Some of these comments are harsh!" one wrote.

"I love this!

"I think they seem awesome and know how to poke fun at themselves."

"Such a beautiful family. You're raising your kids right," another praised.

"Such a beautiful family, you're very blessed," a third commented.

"I am impressed by the costco bill, not bad for 13 people!"

"Love it!!" someone else wrote.
