‘I’m dead’ people say as au pair reveals her super wealthy family’s kids use HERMES paper to scribble on

EVERY parent wants the best start for their kids and will go out of their way to provide healthy meals, plenty of sleep and fun ways to explore the world around them.

One au par was shocked to discover how boujee some extra circular activities are though as she cared for two kids in Paris.

Like many twenty-somethings, Rebeca Campos dreamed of living in the City of Love.

With the French capital being a world away from her native Brazil, the young woman decided to apply for an exchange programme overseas.

Unlike some programmes which centre around study, this scheme offered her the chance to live in central Paris so long as she worked as a nanny for her host family.

Though she quickly adapted to the culture and working life, there was one thing Rebeca didn’t expect – how luxuriously these kids lived.

While most kids are doodling on scrap paper, these little ones prefer using patterned paper from luxury brand Hermes (yes, you read that right).

She even filmed them playing on the floor and happily colouring in the famous monogrammed ‘H’, before flipping it over to reveal the iconic horse and carriage logo.

With Hermes wallpaper costing around £455 for a 10-meter roll, the au par was more than a little shocked by after-school activity and even joked in the caption that it was ‘very basic’.

Unsurprisingly, her video has gone viral on Tiktok and has left over 2.5 million viewers similarly astonished.

“I’m dead,” wrote one stunned Tikok user, with another adding: “But of course!! What else would they use? Printer paper?”

“This is straight up a waste of money,” complained a third, with many suggesting that the kids were 'probably nepo babies'.

Others had a more relaxed attitude to the tots' playtime, with many claiming that monogramed paper was a wallpaper sample that is handed out for free in the high-end store.

“Just FYI, it’s wallpaper samples that are free,” explained one fashionista as the views continued to rack up.

Another revealed that they’d had a similarly luxurious childhood and admitted to using the designer's accessories to dress up.

Trying to laugh off their lavish childhood, they confessed: “When I was a kid, we used Hermes scarves as superhero capes.”

It seems that these experiences aren’t all that uncommon for au pairs with several nannies recalled how out of place they felt in the affluent homes.

“I was an Au Pair in a rich town in the USA. The money some families had was RIDICULOUS,” revealed one former nanny, who had emigrated from the UK.

Despite the child having not left school, another au par revealed that they family she worked for dressed their kids in designer gear daily.

“Not my kids wearing Loro Piana for going out every day,” they moaned, as they spoke about the fashion brand,

To which Rebeca replied with a laughing emoji and wrote: “I don’t even know what Loro Piana is.”

With playtime being this lavish, we wonder what this kid’s birthday is like.
