‘Love the neutral colours’ shoppers rave about ‘comfy’ New Balance dupes slashed to £12 in Schuh sale
THE word dupe is thrown around a lot but every now and again, a truly cash-saving one crops up.
And the deal is even sweeter when said dupe is on sale - like one neutral pair of trainers from Schuh.
The Schuh Melody Feature Lace Up Trainers in white and grey emulate the style of New Balance’s sell-out 550 kicks.
But even better, they’re on sale for a cool £11.99 down from £35, while a pair of the designer sneakers will set you back £130.
That’s a whopping £118.01 saving for getting your dupe on.
“Introducing the Melody Feature Lace Up Trainers from Schuh,” bosses at the footwear brand said.

“These vegan friendly kicks land in a white man-made upper - with breathable perforations, panelling details and light grey detailing throughout.
“A sturdy white and grey sole unit completes.”
The own-brand trainers have received rave reviews from buyers, too.
“Love them, super comfy and look great,” one penned on the Schuh website.
“I really love these shoes,” a second gushed.
“They fit perfectly and are so comfortable to wear.
“I love the neutral colours.”
The kicks are dupe for New Balance’s iconic 550 trainers which made their debut in 1989 and had a resurgence in recent years.
“After its initial run, the 550 was filed away in the archives,” New Balance bosses explained.
“Before being reintroduced in limited-edition releases in late 2020 and returned to the full-time lineup in 2021.
“They quickly became a global fashion favourite.
“The familiar 550 silhouette is outfitted in premium leather uppers, rendered in monochromatic colorways, for an eye-catching take on a classic look.”
