England in major blunder leaving Jude Bellingham looking stunned during Euro 2024 clash against Switzerland
JUDE BELLINGHAM was at the centre of a bizarre sub mix-up in England's dramatic quarter-final with Switzerland.
Boss Gareth Southgate responded to falling behind with a TRIPLE replacement in the 78th minute.
Cole Palmer, Eberechi Eze and fit-again Luke Shaw eventually came on for Ezri Konsa, Kieran Trippier and Kobbie Mainoo.
But seconds earlier Bellingham looked on puzzled and disbelief when his No10 was shown on the board.
He even swapped words with the referee - before he stayed on.
And soon bemusement on the pitch turned to joy in the stands - as England levelled.
Breel Embolo had stabbed the Swiss in front on 75 minutes.
But the Three Lions' main man Bukayo Saka promptly turned it around after England made their treble change.
The wideman cut in from the right for a brilliant low left-footer into the corner.
