Everyone can see the trees – but you have a high IQ if you spot the deer in 50 seconds, after walker ‘heard branch snap’

But there is a forest-dwelling creature in there somewhere.

If you manage to spot the deer you should give yourself a pat on the back and a high-five.

Success means you have a high IQ and one smart cookie.

You have a generous amount of time to seek the deer out amongst the vegetation.

Your goal is to spot it in 50 seconds after the walker hears the "branch snap."

“Deer spotting in the woods," she says in her post.

“Have you ever been walking in the woods and instinctively known you were no longer alone?” she adds.

Deer are silent movers in wooded areas and the only thing that gives them away is a slight movement of the head or a twitch of their ears.

But sound can also alert people to their presence.

That's what happened to Rachel.

“I stopped to look back when I heard a branch snap," she said.

“Tried to get a clearer view but startled them. I think there were three or four deer. But it was easier to see them in person," she said.

Trees, leaves, and gorse flowers, jostle for space in this woodland scene.

The elusive deer are there somewhere but can you see them?
