Boy, 14, becomes fifth person charged over murders of Bristol teenagers

A boy has been charged with the murder of two teenage boys in Bristol.

The 14-year-old is the fifth person to be charged over the murders of Mason Rist, 15, and Max Dixon,16, and is due to appear in court today.

Earlier, a hearing for two boys, aged 15 and 16, and 44-year-old Anthony Snook - who were all charged with murder last week - was held at Bristol Crown Court.

A 17-year-old also became the fourth person to be charged with their murders.

Mason and Max were stabbed during an incident in Ilminster Avenue in Knowle West, Bristol, on the evening of Saturday 27 Saturday.

Local residents went to help the teenagers and police were on the scene within minutes to provide first aid.

The boys were taken by ambulance to Southmead Hospital and Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where they died in the early hours of Sunday.
