Home Bargains fans are racing to nab 2p buy that’ll keep you going for months and is such a steal it’s already sold-out
EVERYBODY loves a good cuppa, especially after a long day at work.
Well, there is now an extra reason to get excited about your next brew and we aren’t talking about biscuits either.
With the cost of everything going up and up, it can be hard to feel like you are getting a good deal nowadays.
Though prices might be at an all-time high, many of our favourite products have gotten smaller – with meat, sweets and crisps all being dramatically downsized.
Even if you were tempted to stock up on household essentials, you’d usually have to visit a cash and carry to buy in bulk.
However, Home Bargains fans have been trawling the aisles and found an amazing deal on one household staple.

In fact, Tiktok user Saira (Mansion) Hayati had been browsing when she found the huge bag of Yorkshire Tea in her local discount store.
With over 480 teabags inside, it was a struggle for Saira to pick up the catering size bag.
She was still in shock at the price when shared the deal with her followers and struggled to contain her laughter.
“480 teabags? £10.99? That is a bargain,” she laughed, adding: “I don’t care it’s going in my trolley, won’t last long in my house.”
For those that haven't done the maths, that's just 2p per brew if you pick up the huge value pack of Yorkshire Tea.
It's little wonder that Saira was smiling as she walked away with her huge bag, which was cheap that the discount store's Tetley tea bag offer - which had 440 bags on offer.
Whilst it was a close call, the proud mum walked away saying that she preferred Yorkshire Tea and claimed that it made ‘the best’ cuppa.
Though it was an easy choice for the Tiktok star, her comments have sparked intense debate in the comments about where is best to find a low cost brew.
In fact, one commenter said they’d paid a pound less after finding the same bag in Costco for just £9.99.
Meanwhile, others argued that Sainsbury’s had the best value tea with over 600 bags for just £12.
A quick look on their website though, suggest that this has now risen to £14.25.
Whilst you might be wondering why people are reaching boiling point about where to buy their tea from, it’s hardly surprising given how much tea costs nowadays.
According to a previous study by The Sun, a box of 80 PG Tips went cost just £2.16 in February 2021 with the price rising to £2.36, that’s a 9.3 per cent hike, in a single year.
Even Saira was shocked at how much everything had risen, revealing that she’d previously spent an eye watering amount on tea in Co-op.
“I remember going to CO-OP and buying two little boxes for £5 each, that’s a tenner,” she complained.
With the dull weather set to continue for the foreseeable, it seems now is the time to stock up on tea – especially as the Home Bargain offer has already sold out online.
