The 1p WHSmith stationary essential which transforms your car into a cinema – perfect for long car journeys with kids
TURNING your car into a home cinema can quieten the kids on one of those long road trips - and it only costs one penny.
The 1p device is only a sheet of plastic, making it very easy to create how one motorist has made the car cinema on TikTok.
Motorist Carmelo Severino has revealed the hack on his TikTok channel in a 13-second clip.
In the short clip, a man uses a plastic sheath out of a binder to hold his iPad in the car.
He removes the front passenger seat headrest and places the prongs through the holes in the sheath for the binder.
Severino is then able to watch his favourite shows or movies in the car on a road trip, or at least keep the kids quiet.

The sheath is the kind that normally holds paper, or other small items and 100 of the A4 size can be bought from WHSmith for £7.99.
Commenters on the video liked Severino's hack.
"Really nice trick. You could also use colored ones," said one.
"I really like this product where's the link," joked another.
"Just when u think you've seen it all," said a third.
Other commenters were worried that the phone or iPad placed inside the thin sheath would overheat
So, they suggested cutting a small hole in the side of the sheath so that you could see the screen better but also let the phone breathe.
Meanwhile, an iPhone user has revealed another way of watching your phone in the car - by attaching your phone to a sun visor.
The Instagram star, known as ‘Appledsign’, claims to “teach you the best iPhone and Apple tricks” via is popular social media page with 2.7million followers.
He pulls out three paper tissues from a box nestled in the passenger door pocket.
He then folds them lengthways in half.
Next up he takes apart the cover for the phone, tucks the folded tissues half inside and then replaces the cover with half of the tissues still poking out.
He then folds down the sun visor and tucks the tissues sticking out over the top of the visor and then selects a film or TV show to watch.
