She shared: “It was done by a joiner with a timber frame and then plasterboard.”
Lauren claimed that the cost of the ‘fake wall’ was between £300-£400.
Now, each of Lauren’s children have their own space - whilst her son’s is the ultimate Marvel room, complete with Spiderman decor and posters, her daughter’s is pretty and pink, with adorable floral details.
The mother explained that she bought her son’s Spiderman rug from Facebook Marketplace, his bed from eBay and his bedding from Argos.
Lauren explained that for her daughter’s bedroom, she used Dulux paint in the shade Boho Blush, as she beamed: “It’s a lovely paint!”
With regards to the blue paint, Lauren shared that she used a Dulux paint in the shade Sapphire Salute.
If you want to get your hands on some Dulux paint, you can nab it from a variety of stores, including B&Q, Screwfix and Homebase.
When it came to her son’s ‘Jax’ letters, Lauren claimed: “I actually hand made them.”
She added: “I got the letters from Hobby Craft, I think they were £2 each, and then bought sample pots of emulsion and used frog tape and then printed out the logos and stuck them on with a hot glue gun!”
Lauren was thrilled with her childrens’ new bedrooms, as she later penned: “Obsessed.
“We are very lucky with sizing!”
Lauren’s post has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 1,700 likes and 215 comments.
