Gladiator contestant sparks cheating row with shock moves as they make desperate bid to get to finals
A CONTESTANT on Gladiators has sparked cheating row with some shock moves.
It was semi-final time as millions of viewers tuned into the primetime BBC reboot to see some of the contestants try to out-move the fitness fanatics.
For this weeks females, Betti and Bronte were the aspiring athletes to make bids to get to the final round of Gladiators.
The pair faced off against each other to try and get more points in the Powerball Challenge as well as several Gladiators.
Fire, Electro and Fury were the trio attempting to stop the pair from getting any balls in the baskets and scoring any points.
In the physical task, Betti originally won against her competitor in the opening game when she scored eight points against her opponents respective six.

However, referee Mark Clattenburg was forced to intervene as there was a potential rule break.
During one of her points, Betti was already tackled to the floor by one of the Gladiators.
But she decided to try her luck and still put the ball in the clear basket regardless.
In the end, she had some points deducted by the ref, but fans were absolutely raging online.
They took to X - formerly known as Twitter - in their droves as they accused the contender of 'cheating'.
One Gladiators fan said: "Betti trying to cheat already #Gladiators."
Another fumed: "I hope Brontë absolutely smashes Betti the cheat in the semi-final #Gladiators."
"Betti trying to cheat again #Gladiators", noted a third user.
As a fourth viewer raged: "Oh f*** off Betti. The cheat is back #Gladiators."
And a fifth added: "Let's see how Betti cheats today #Gladiators."
She previously fell foul of the ref in her quarter final round in the duel challenge and was disqualified from the event.
As one of the fastest runners up, she earned her place in the semi-finals where she was praised by one of the gladiators.
After she managed to stay up and win all five points, an impressed Sabre brought her in to share a hug.
In her interview with host Barney Walsh she gushed: "Now THAT is how you fight.

"That was amazing. At one point, I honestly thought it was lights out."
She added: "Yeah, that was phenomenal, that's the best fight I have had up there," to a thunderous round of applause and cheers from the audience.
