MONTELL Douglas is one of the mighty Gladiators who form the brand new BBC reboot of the iconic 90s show.
The iconic programme is back on the box and brings with it an incredible line up of sports heroes and athletes including Fire.
Who is Montell Douglas?
Montell Douglas has joined the BBC reboot Gladiators.
She has taken on the alter ego of Fire where she will show off her power and strength.
Discussing joining the Gladiators cast, Montell said: "I'm so pleased I’ve been asked to be Fire!
"Being a gladiator has been a secret lifelong dream of mine.

"As a strong and powerful woman, I'm living proof that you can achieve your dreams, no matter what age or background, if you believe and keep pushing.
"I'm ready to light up the competition!"
Speaking to the BBC, just ahead of the launch Montell described her alter ego Fire.
She said: "How would you describe Fire?Fire is a fireball, a firecracker.
"She is a bundle of laughs and fierceness. She’s playful, fun but does not hold back or take any prisoners in gameplay.
"She will not go easy on you, but has lots of compassion.
"She has a heart of fire, and that burns strong, and that comes out in her personality but also in her gameplay, sportsmanship, and compassion for contenders.
"She is a crowd pleaser and loves the interaction with the audience and experience of Gladiators. She is a weapon."
When did Montell Douglas represent Team GB in the Olympics?
Montell is definitely qualified to be a Gladiator as she has already competed in the Olympic Games.
In January 2022, she made sporting history to become the first female UK athlete to compete at both the Summer and Winter Olympics.
She is a former Team GB Sprinter and Olympic Bobsledder, and held the British woman's record for fastest 100m sprint at 11.05 seconds, smashing the previous record which was unbeaten for 27 years.
In 2010 Montell won Commonwealth Gold in the 4x100m relay race in Delhi as well as holding a European Under-23 Silver Medal in 100m.
Montell got into bobsledding in 2016.
When she competed at the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022, Montell returned to the city where she had competed 14 years previously at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
