Having made its debut on the platform in November, fans are still flocking to tune into the show amid critical acclaim and a growing viewer interest.

One of Disney+'s first ever British commissions, the show is led by renowned actor Nathan Stewart-Jarrett who first rose to fame for his role as Curtis Donovan on E4 show Misfits.

The series follows his character, Joe, as he attempts to start a new life in the US with a totally new identity after a life spent in underworld crime which secretly earned him millions of pounds in the process.

Having turned his back on his old life after one final major heist saw the criminals rob sums of eight figures, Joe is living comfortably having met the man of his dreams, fiance Jules, and his step-kids, Frankie and Bud, but their life is about to come crashing down.

Having received a message that someone is trying to kill off all the members of the specially put together gang who undertook the final heist, led by mastermind Diane, played by James Bond actress Gemma Arterton, Joe and his family are in danger.

It leads to him having to confess all to his partner in order to take a trip back to London to reunite with his former associates to find out exactly who is after them.

Edited together concisely and cleverly, the show makes use of 'flashback-style' scenes in order to accurately depict the heist and everyone's involvement.

Having binge-watched the big-budget heist epic, fans have been left bursting at the seams to shout about the show from the rooftops.

It has even managed to bag itself an impressive score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes thanks to its explosive action scenes, superb acting and unique story.

Commenting on the show on X, formerly Twitter, one viewer said: "Culprits on Disney+ is a fantastic watch. There’s been some really quality TV this year."

Another went on to add: "Culprits on Disney Plus is soooo good!"

A third penned: "I'm about three quarters through The Culprits on Disney and it's bloody good. Gets better and better as more is revealed."

Speaking about the show, lead actor Nathan admitted to The Wrap that a memorable scene in the show's first episode which saw his character placed inside a bin lorry took 100 days to film.

It was both one of the first and last scenes that were filmed for the show, with continuous pick-ups required.

Recalling the filming process, Nathan said: “They dirtied me up every week, usually on a Friday. So I always thought, ‘What have I done to J [Blakeson, the show's creator]?’

"I was definitely in the doghouse. And then the last week of shooting, I was presented with the trash can again, I was like, ‘What? I thought we finished on this one!’ He kept me on my toes. I’d think I was safe and then…”

He continued: “I mean, it might not be someone’s wastage, but it is what it was like, real yogurt (containers). And they put stuff like in the diapers.
