I’m 44 but everyone thinks I’m 20 years younger – my anti-ageing secret is only 5p but smelling it might make you gag
IF there is one thing that cost of living has taught us, it’s how to look after ourselves on a budget.
Now that Brits are strapped for cash, it means many have been experimenting with different tips and tricks when it comes to a good beauty regime.

Many beauty fans and professionals have also revealed Botox hacks which can cost as little as 5p.
One beauty fan, who goes by the name of larloo22 on TikTok, specialises in Natural anti-ageing and is a registered dental hygienist.
The woman, 44, often shares videos of her beauty regime which clearly works as people think she’s at least 20 years younger.

In one video that has gone viral, she revealed a ‘banana peel’ method is what helps to keep her looking so young.
The wellness expert captioned the video with: “Try this banana peel method to help moisturise and hydrate your skin.
“There are so many antioxidants in bananas that can improve your skin health.”
In the video, she demonstrates exactly how it is done and says: “So this is how I use banana peels for my skin.
“Take the banana peel, the darker the better. The brown spots are good.
“The brown spots produce TNF - Tumor necrosis factor - which is a substance that could kill cancerous and abnormal cells.
“What you’re going to do is you’re going to take the inside of the banana peel and you are just going to rub it really gently on your skin.
“So rub it around your skin, wherever your skin is dry. We get dry around our nose.
“Grab a larger peel and use it on your neck.
“You want to go in an upward motion.
“We are going to leave it on for 10 minutes, once our face is coated and like I explained in my last video it’s loaded with antioxidants.
“It’s loaded with potassium to help hydrate the skin.
“It’s loaded with vitamin B, which helps reduce ageing. It’s loaded with vitamin E to help the skin’s protective layer.
“I’ve got this on my skin, my skin feels tight.”
The wellness professional says that it is best to leave it on for ten minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
She adds: “Then you are going to put your favourite moisturiser on afterwards.”
The anti-ageing professional then goes on to explain how to make the most of the banana peels that you didn’t use.
Placing the banana peels into Tupperware, she says that “you’re going to put it in for tomorrow morning.”
She adds: “Peel it, put it into a glass container. Put it in the freezer, and tomorrow morning when you wake up it’s going to be frozen.
“When we wake up in the morning, our skin has puffiness, we have inflammation, especially under our eyes.
“This way, the peel is going to be frozen. It’s going to be nice and cool.
“Grab it in the morning, you can just go ahead and just pat it on your skin.
“It’s going to start cooling, and it’s really going to help with inflammation and redness.”
Many rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts, with one writing: “Done this for years.”
Another added: “I'm going to try this after my banana on toast and sugar.”
A third wrote: “I'm turning 60 in 3 weeks so sure, why not try this.”
