‘Absolute bargain!’ Jealous shoppers say after one buys bars of Galaxy and bags of Aero chocolates for just 26p each
FOODIES have been sent into a frenzy after spotting a sweet deal at Asda, with cult favourite chocolates going for under 30p.
We all need a little treat here and there, and if you have a sweet tooth, then best get racing to Asda.
According to bargain hunters, the popular supermarket has slashed the prices for many customer-loved chocolates, including Galaxy bars and even Aero treats.
One shopper, who took to Facebook to show off her monster haul, had managed to get her hands on a number of goodies, each one cost her just pennies.
The woman, who's a member of the Yellow Sticker Shopping Tips, Tricks and Hauls, was pretty chuffed with the find, writing in her post: ''I think I did alright this morning.''
The foodie had spotted a number of cut-price goodies whilst browsing the store, such as Smarties Gold Buttons on sale, which normally go for £1.35 at the supermarket.

As the lucky shopper had paid a mere 26p for the packet, she'd saved over £1 - and that's not all.
The haul also included a Salted Caramel Galaxy bar, which had been reduced from £1.35 to a mere 26p, as well as Aero Caramel Melts that were now 26p after selling for £1.35, she went on.
To make the trip to the store even more successful, the delighted customer had also stumbled across their Extra Special Handmade White Chocolate Honeycomb on the cheap.
The 100g packet usually retails for £2 - but the Asda fanatic had managed to bag it for just 38p, saving herself over £1.50.
Needless to say, fellow members of the group were just as amazed by the cheap finds as we are, as they raced to comments to share their thoughts.
''Absolute bargain,'' wrote one foodie who was jealous.
If you're heading to the local branch this week, don't forget to check out other bargains - one shopper recently spotted baby wipes going for spare change and bagged 40 packs for a tenner.
Fans of the retailer have also been going totally wild over a Jo Malone pomegranate candle dupe that smells almost identical but is a whopping £49 cheaper.
Homeware fans have been raving about the store's 'Pomegranate Scented Multiwick Candle with Lid' which sells at the bargain price of £7.
In comparison, Jo Malone's cult favourite 'Pomegranate Noir Home Candle' costs an eye-watering £56, meaning yous can save a whopping £49 by opting for the budget-friendly alternative.
The online product description for the £7 candle reads: "Fill your home with the wonderfully sweet aroma of pomegranate with this triple-wick candle from George Home.
"Topped with a silver-toned lid, it'll look simply elegant in any room.
"Sensual notes of exotic pomegranate and dark plum are laced with spices.
''Warm base notes of sweet amber, frankincense and patchouli add an elevated touch."
However, although both candles are similar in appearance, there is one thing worth noting.
While the posh version by Jo Malone claims to burn for up to 45 hours, Asda's dupe will burn for up to 28 hours - however, this hasn't been enough to stop fans from raving about the find.
"Love this candle, smells amazing also if you're a fan of the designer brand Jo Malone you will love this," wrote one customer.
