The sale kicked off online on December 24, followed by in-store discounts on December 27, and we expect a similar set-up this year, which means even if you have left your Christmas shopping to the last minute, you could shop M&S sale to land a bargain - though we are getting ahead of ourselves, and thinking hypothetically.

What was in Marks & Spencer's Boxing Day sale last year?

In 2022, M&S' Boxing Day Deals spanned across womenswear, menswear, kids, as well as home and beauty departments.

The sale saw select items reduced by up to half price, which was quite a hefty saving.

When does the M&S sale end?

Marks and Spencer has yet to confirm its exact start dates for the Boxing Day sale, though in previous years the M&S Boxing Day Deals dropped on December 24 online and 27th December in store.

The retailer has also yet to confirm how long the sale will run for, though typically it runs until the end of the year and, in some cases into the New Year.

It is likely discounts will continue into the new year, with further savings during the January sale period.

What we do know is you'll need to act fast as the best deals as they are expected to sell fast.

How much does M&S delivery cost?

At the moment, you'll get free delivery on orders over £60.

However, around the Christmas and Boxing Day period the retailer usually offers free delivery and/or free Click and Collect.

What is the M&S Christmas returns policy?

For the festive period, M&S usually tweak their returns policy.

In previous years, any purchases made online or in-store between October 13 and December 24 could be returned up until 28 January 2023.

Purchases made from December 25 onwards saw the normal refund policy applied.

Are M&S stores open over Boxing Day?

No. Marks and Spencer's will be closing its doors this Boxing Day to allow staff to spend more time with family and friends for the holidays.
