Coronation Street legend returns after 16 years to tear a strip off her wayward son
LIAM Connor's bullying ordeal has taken devastating proportions for one lad in the cobbles.
And just as he faces the music, his mother, a Coronation Street legend, rocks up for the first time in 16 years.
Maria Connor refused to let Mason Radcliffe get away with his dangerous antics after finding out the bully portrayed by Luca Toolan held her son Liam at knifepoint.
Unfortunately, this severely backfired on an impressionable Dylan Wilson (played by Liam McCheyne) who was heavily coerced by Mason to take part in Liam's bullying.
Dylan recently realised the gravity of his own actions but it didn't stop Mason from setting him up with the zombie knife he used to intimidate Liam.
In recent scenes of the ITV soap, Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) got the shock of his life when Dylan was caught by copper Craig Tinker with the weapon and arrested on the spot.

The lad eventually came to terms with the reality of his relationship with Mason, understanding he was only a scapegoat for the troublemaker to fall on when needed.
Unfortunately for Mason, this realisation prompted Dylan to reveal his involvement in Eliza Woodrow's hit and run last year.
But while all hell is breaking loose for Dylan, his mother Violet Wilson is in London, blissfully unaware he is in deep trouble as Sean admits next week that he hasn't told her anything, leaving Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) horrified.
Eileen puts pressure on Sean to call Violet, but Dylan intervenes to reveal that he’s already spoken to his mother.
He then conveniently adds that she can’t attend the court hearing as she’s in Ibiza - but whether he is telling the truth or not remains unclear.
Later on in court, Dylan pleads guilty to carrying a knife in a public place while Sean listens, upset.
Having been handed a community service order, Dylan thanks Sean for all his support and promises him that he intends to get his life back on track.
But just as the teen promises a fresh start, Sean and Dylan fail to catch a break as they have to face the repercussions of their past actions - and actress Jenny Platt finally reprises her role as Violet Wilson.
