I had deep 11 forehead wrinkles but got rid of them using a £1 buy from Boots – the before and afters astound people
YOU might think the only way to get rid of deep wrinkles once they appear on your face is to fork out for fillers or Botox.
But one skincare fan has shared her secret method that helped her banish her forehead lines for good.
Melanie Sandford had deep wrinkles in between her eyebrows, which she calls 'elevens' for years and thought they were there for good.
But then she discovered a bargain hack to smooth them out, and now they've almost totally vanished.
She took to Instagram to she the secret. "I used to have really deep elevens right here," she said, pointing to her forehead.
In a before picture, the wrinkles were pretty clear and you'd never be able to guess the snap was actually from four years ago.

So, how did she get rid of them? Medical tape.
Melanie explained she's been putting a small square of the sticky tape over the wrinkles whenever she's just at home to stop her from frowning.
All you need to do is rip a piece of tape off and get rid of the extra stickiness by putting it on the back of your hand first to "weaken the adhesive."
"Trust me this puppy's gonna stick," Melanie said.
"Then you go ahead and just slap her on."
According to the skincare fan, the hack works by stopping your face from being able to from and make the lines any deeper.
"Over time it will smooth out those lines," she added.
The best part is the hack is an incredibly cheap one and you can buy medical tape from shops like Boots for as little as £1.
Fellow skincare fans loved the hack and couldn't wait to try it out for themselves.
One commented on the clip: "Yes it works!!! I use it at night and when I get up it's so smooth and nice, I love it!!! No Botox needed!!!"
And a second agreed: "I feel like it’s really effective for the 11s! Thank you.
"I tried it in the other areas of my face and it didn’t seem to be as effective and also kind of annoying to sleep with."
Taping your face to prevent wrinkles isn't a new trend though - it's something people have been doing for years.
Speaking Good Morning America, Dr Jennifer Ashton explained that using tape to banish wrinkles can work, but it might not be a permeant fix.
"Very superficially and very temporarily, it can smooth out those superficial wrinkles," she said.
"It depends on the age of the person, how much sun damage there is, how much elasticity or collagen there is in their skin, how much volume they've lost with age. All of those things can contribute to the appearance of wrinkles."

Not only that, but she noted that you should always patch test anything before it goes on your face, including tape.
"We see all the time allergic reactions to tape on the skin in surgery, I would suggest if you're going to try this, try it on a part of your body that the whole world doesn't see in case you have an allergic reaction," she explained.
