Fashion and beauty fan Charlotte Lynch shared her six top tips that’ll sell your stuff and earn you cash in no time.

Not only did she claim that bundle discounts are key, but she also explained that haggling is important too.

Posting on social media, Charlotte said: “So this is how I made over £200 selling my items on Vinted, within the space of about two to three days.”

First of all, Charlotte explained why you must turn on your bundle discounts, as she shared: “I turned on bundled discounts. I did originally have them at 15% off, but some people still wanted a bigger discount, so I reduced the discount so that way there would still be room for negotiation.”

Secondly, Charlotte revealed that if you want to sell your items, you’ll need to make sure that you post the highest quality pictures.

She added: “I take the clearest and best pictures I can.”

Not only this, but Charlotte then shared that you should add extra information in the description, as she continued: “If necessary I include more information in the description.”

When it comes to pricing, according to this Vinted whizz, advertise your items for a higher price than you expect to make.

She revealed: “I always add a little bit extra to the price, so that way buyers have room to negotiate with you, but you don't end up getting rid of an item for less than you wanted to.”

But that’s not all - as Charlotte shared a simple tip that managed to really help sell her items fast.

She explained: “The biggest help for me getting rid of all my stuff over last weekend was advertising my Vinted on my TikTok.

“It got so many more views than I thought, which really helped.

“In the caption I included my username and different Vinted hashtags, which was also a massive help to getting more views.”

Not only this, but Charlotte’s final tip is focused on once you have sold your items - and it’s key for sellers.

She concluded: “One last thing as well, before posting my items, I always make sure that I take pictures of the front and back of my parcel.

“That way if anything was to happen in transit, I know that I've got proof of how I packaged my item.

“Also always take pictures of the postage receipts.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @lottielynch7, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 96,200 views.

Social media users were thankful for Charlotte’s tips and many were keen to know more.

One person said: “Love the bundle idea! I'm about to upload more stuff so I will do that.

“I sold three items for £310 last week, now trying not to spend it on more clothes.”

Another added: “Thanks, not sold on Vinted yet, only bought. More tips please.”

Whilst a third commented: “Taking pics of the parcels??”

In response, Charlotte explained: “If something happens during transit and the buyer reports an issue, the case usually goes in favour of the buyer as the package apparently wasn’t packed sufficiently. I take pictures as proof just in case this was ever to happen.”

At the same time, someone else asked: “Where do you get your packaging from?”

To this, Charlotte simply confirmed: “Amazon.”

But if you fancy clearing out your wardrobe and getting rid of your old stuff on Vinted, there are some things you’ll need to know.

Customers selling their second-hand goods on the app should be aware of the new tax shake-up.

Since January 1, digital platforms, including eBayAirbnbEtsyAmazon and Vinted, must share seller information with HMRC as part of a crackdown.

You'll only be affected if you sell a certain number of items or earn over a certain amount across one financial year.

Firms now have to pass on your data to HMRC if you sell 30 or more items a year or earn over £1,700.

It is part of a wider tax crackdown to help ensure that those who boost their income via side hustles pay up what they owe.

While your data won't be shared with HMRC if you earn between £1,000 and £1,700, you'll still need to pay tax as normal.

However, you're unlikely to be affected if you only sell a handful of second-hand items online each year.
