I did a work Christmas party dress haul, #2 was ‘giving Mrs Claus.’ but in a bad way, and another had a too high slit

A CURVY fashionista fell into fits of laughter after trying on dresses for her workplace’s Christmas party.

She visited JCPenney and Marshalls searching for a stylish dress to wear for the festive event.

She took to the social media platform to share her shopping haul after taking a pile of dresses into the fitting room.

The style enthusiast started the haul by wearing a figure-hugging red midi dress with a thigh-high slit.

It wasn’t obvious as she posed if the sizing was too big or if the dress had a ruching design.

“This one isn’t bad but it isn’t exactly what I was going for,” she said. “It’s a little more form-fitting and the slit is a little high.

“I just feel like I might feel a little self-conscious in it.”

Courtney changed into a second red dress at the department store, opting for a belted velvet style that fell just below the knees.

She laughed hysterically and scratched her forehead as she looked at herself wearing the dress.

“It’s giving Mrs. Claus, no,” she said, unimpressed by the look.

Courtney continued her search for the perfect dress by going to another department store.

She started by trying on a sleeveless blue dress with a plunging neckline and a belt that cinched her waist.

“This one isn’t bad,” she said. “It’s a little more elegant looking and I’m not drowning as much although I was still drowning.

“But I really did want long sleeves. I love the color though.”

The fashionista then donned a similar dress but in red and with long sleeves.

She was immediately wowed by how it looked on her pear-shaped figure.

“Yes, sold, done and that’s a wrap folks,” she said.

Courtney admitted in the caption of her post that the shopping haul didn’t go as she had initially expected.

“I really thought the second one was gonna be it though,” she wrote.

The video went viral and racked up over 928,000 likes from people who were delighted by her honest reviews of each dress.

Hundreds of viewers took to the comment section complimenting Courtney’s body shape and sharing their opinions on the dresses.

“Lmao the second one looks like what our moms dresses us in for elementary school holiday concerts,” one person wrote.

“The way my jaw dropped to the floor,” another commented.

“You looked good in every single over of them dresses. You’re gorgeous,” a third chimed in.

“Can’t never go wrong in a wrap dress! You look lovely,” a fourth said.

“As soon as I saw the last dress I said yes automatically,” another added.
