Kris Jenner’s sister Karen Houghton dies suddenly at 65 as reality star mourns sibling and says ‘life is too short’

KAREN Houghton, the only sister of Kris Jenner, has died at the age of 65.

It was reported that Karen died in San Marcos, California.

According to TMZ, it is unclear what the exact circumstances of Karen's death is, however, county officials are attributing it to natural causes at the moment.

Kris, 68, took to Instagram to mourn the loss as she shared numerous photos alongside her late sibling.

"It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly," the reality star shared.

"My heart aches for my mom MJ and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable and so so funny."

"She always felt grateful and thankful for her life and treasured her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter," Kris continued.

"She holds such a huge part of my heart and I cherish every single memory we have together."

"Karen’s passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and tomorrow is never promised. We must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you my beautiful sister," she closed.

Kardashian fans and friends were quick to respond to the tragedy, as Simon Huck wrote, "I'm so sorry Kris for your loss."

"So sorry Mj and Kris - prayers," another said, as a third reacted, "Sending my love."

Kris and Karen's parents are MJ and Robert Houghton, as the star's late sister was born just three years after the famous momager.
