Greg James was born on December 17, 1985 in Lewisham, south London.
He is an English radio DJ and television presenter who came to prominence on BBC Radio 1's drive-time slot, before moving on to the breakfast show.

As well as being on the radio, Greg has also hosted many TV programmes, including Sun, Sex and Holiday Madness, Unzipped and Sport Relief.

In June 2018 Greg announced his engagement to Bella — the same week he found out he would be the new host of the Radio 1 Breakfast Show.
He says the proposal wasn't exactly traditional, because it was Bella who popped the question in February 2018.
Making the announcement on Instagram, he shared a pic of his bride-to-be captioned: "This is Bella and in February she asked me to marry her.
