Extreme makeovers aged 9, swearing & letting the kids loose on Temu… 6 times Katie Price has been savagely mum-shamed
KATIE PRICE has been subject to her fair share of mum-shaming over the years, from allowing her kids to use social media, to setting a bad example by swearing and vaping.
The mum-of-five recently came under fire again, for allowing her nine-year-old Bunny to wear heels and makeup to an 18 plus event.
Katie was just 24 years old when she gave birth to her first child Harvey, 21, whom she shares with Dwight Yorke and has since gone on to have Junior, 18, Princess, 16, Jett, 10 and Bunny.
The glamour model often shares insights into her life as a mum on social media, and has been known to hit back at trolls for their criticisms of her parenting.
Alongside parenting expert Huriye Atilgan, Fabulous takes a look at six times the reality star was mum shamed.
1. Allowing her young daughter to wear makeup
Katie recently raised concern swhen she took young daughter Bunny to an 18+ event in Nottingham, where alcohol was being served and burlesque dancers performed.

Bunny was seen at the event wearing a full face of makeup and some large high heels.
This is not the first time that Bunny has been seen wearing makeup.
Last year, Katie posted a picture of her daughter in full glam to her Instagram account and social media users were not impressed.
One person said: "Bejesus. Wait what? ridiculous."
One more snapped: "Ridiculous putting make-up on a child, and yes we know little girls play with mummy's make-up and shoes, but this isn't in a playing way, it's professional, they grow up too fast as it is."
Katie has previously hit back at criticism of Bunny wearing makeup, telling her fans that the 9-year-old puts the makeup on herself and "loves doing it".
She also faced backlash for years over Princess' makeovers - with false lashes and heavy makeup - when she was a similar age.
Parenting expert and founder of TAK Index Huriye Atilgan told Fabulous that children need to "enjoy being their own age" and embrace behaviours that are "typical for their stage of development".
She said: "Katie must be mindful of the appropriateness of attire and settings for her children, ensuring they're safe and comfortable in their choices."
2. Allowing Bunny to have social media
Katie has been locked in a feud with Bunny's father, her ex Kieran Hayler, about allowing their young daughter to use social media.
Bunny has been banned from TikTok for being underage, but still posts to her own YouTube channel.
Concerned fans have littered the comments section of Bunny's posts, stating that she should not be online as she is too young.
In one video, Bunny is seen looking downcast reacting to hurtful phrases: "No one likes you. Your fat. You have no friends. Your little brother will forget about you," which are written over her video.
Kieran is fuming at Katie for allowing Bunny to use social media, and previously told The Sun: "Social media sites are a dangerous place for young, vulnerable children.
"Katie often refers to her kidnapping threats and fears for the children's safety yet allows her children to chat with complete strangers on these sites - TikTok and YouTube.
"Where is the parental protection and safe guarding?"
Huriye said that social media use comes with risks, especially for children and said that Katie should create a "child-friendly digital environment" for her kids.
She said: "Katie needs to exercise caution to ensure that her children’s social media usage is monitored closely – especially seeing as they are the children of a pubic figure and more likely to be targeted as a result."
3. Letting Bunny use her credit card
Katie has revealed that she lets Bunny use her credit card to order things online.
Speaking to Jamie Laing's Private Parts podcast, she said: "Bunny's on this site called Temu and she's got my card and she's so clever and I see packages coming all the the time.
"She's just ordering stuff off of it all the time."
Katie, who has recently been declared bankrupt for the second time said that Bunny is costing her a fortune, and described her as being a "nightmare".
Listeners were not impressed at all with Katie's admission, with one person stating: "Great parenting as usual...not!"
Another added: "No wonder she's bankrupt".
Huriye said that she would never recommend giving a child access to a credit card because of the risk or "scams" and "fraudsters".
She said: "Katie should make sure her children understand the implications and responsibilities that come with being entrusted with their mother’s credit card."

4. Vaping
Katie has been criticised for vaping during recordings of her podcast The Katie Price Show, with people suggesting that she is setting a bad example to her children.
Discussing her habit, one person said: “Why are you vaping!!!! You are a disgusting and vile woman!!!! You’re an embarrassment to your children.”
A second harshly said: “Oh shut up Katie chugging on your teenage vape!! All you care about is yourself!!”
While a third asked: “How can you vape when your mother is slowly dying of a lung condition.”
Katie has previously apologised to anyone that she has "insulted" by vaping, but admitted that she is addicted to it.
Huriye said that Katie should be mindful not to influence her children with her habit.
She said: "I don’t know if calling Katie an 'embarrassment to her children' for vaping is entirely fair.
"But she should make sure she’s mindful of her behaviours, so as not to influence her children’s perceptions of this dangerous addiction."
5. Swearing
Another habit that Katie has been criticised for is swearing, whilst her children are in earshot.
In episode of her podcast, which is recorded in her home, Katie told guest Daisy May Cooper that she could swear as much as she liked, and the pair didn't hold back.
The expletives were not received well by listeners, with one person commenting: "KP really doesn’t care her kids hear all that foul language does she?”
A second raged: “How common all the swearing and people are tuning in to listen to this.”
While a third added: “Really needed all the bad language what a shame.”
Huriye said that there is nothing wrong with Katie expressing herself using swear words, as long as her children cannot hear.
She said: "Katie’s swearing on her own podcast doesn’t have a reflection on her abilities as a mother.
"As long as she is safeguarding her children online, her own platforms are for her to express herself however she wants to. "
6. Allowing Bunny to be in the car without a seat belt
Katie's parenting was slated last year, after a video emerged of Bunny in the back of Katie's car, without a seat belt on.
The clip was shared as part of an Irish TV show called Living With Lucy, where host Lucy Kennedy spends a day following a star around.
A rep for Bunny's father Kieran told The Sun at the time: "It deeply troubles me to see this - Bunny clearly is not wearing a seat belt, this is highly irresponsible."
Huriye said: "Children, due to their limited maturity, often cannot ensure their own safety.
"As such, it falls upon adults to shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding their well-being.
