Love Island’s Paige slams claims she faked break up with ex Finn and reveals ‘real reason’ she did Ex On The Beach
LOVE Island winner Paige Turley has hit back at claims she faked her split with Finn Tapp for the sake of a new TV opportunity.
The couple, who won Love Island in 2020, dated for three years, before breaking fans’ hearts by going their separate ways in 2023.
Now, both can be seen on Celebrity Ex On The Beach - the MTV series where stars are confronted with their past relationships as they’re holed up in a sunny beachside mansion.
As a result, some fans believed they’d manufactured their break-up in order to then get on EOTB - which was recorded last year.
But Paige has spoken out about the allegations while on podcast Straight To The Comments.
On Monday’s episode, Paige told hosts Josh Pieters and Archie Manners about the claims when they prodded her on the accusations - especially as the couple reunited on the show.

“This is good. Your manager has done well here, she’s said ‘break up and we can get you a great telly gig’, and then you come back together and nothing happens. Is this true?” Archie asked.
“Do you know what though, in my mind, I was living in Manchester, and I moved to Glasgow,” Paige responded.
“Do you know how f**king expensive removal men are? The money that I get from Ex on the Beach isn't even going to cover the one guy, and I needed three!”
Josh then asked: “But hold on, did you fake your breakup with Mr. Finn Tapp?”
“No,” she asserted. “I wish I did, to be honest – less traumatic!”
“I'm not gonna lie, Paige, that wasn't the most convincing answer I've ever heard on this podcast,” Josh joked, prompting Paige to double down.
“This is what I don't understand. How they can write this kind of stuff, where are they getting it from?” she said.
“Why would somebody pretend to break up? I think people think we're together now, let me rest assure, we're not.”
Paige then stirred the pot by saying she’d heard Finn was “getting to know another cast member pretty well”.
The comment comes after Paige, who was on track to reunite with Finn, discovered he had slept with Married At First Sight star Tamara Joy.
The couple were on track to reunite, when it was revealed Finn had slept with their co-star Tamara the night before the show launch.
A source told The Sun: "It came as a real shock to Paige who was finally giving Finn the second chance he wanted.
"Finn wasn't over their split before filming whereas Paige could see a life past their relationship.
"After spending so much time together again they both decided to try again - but Finn's fling with Tamara has thrown a massive spanner in the works.

"Paige felt really uncomfortable seeing Tamara at the party - she feels betrayed."
When asked what her relationship with Finn was like now, an uncertain Paige paused before responding: “Amicable.”
