MANCHESTER CITY superstar Ederson is reportedly considering a summer exit amid interest from Saudi Arabia.

The goalkeeper has won six titles during seven glittering seasons at the Etihad.

But just days after lifting his latest trophy, Ederson is now said to be mulling a shock transfer to the Middle East.

Fabrizio Romano claims several Saudi sides are interest in signing Pep Guardiola's No1 for a tasty fee.

Ederson is ready to consider all proposals after playing 332 times for City.

And Saturday's upcoming FA Cup final against Man United could be his last in a sky-blue shirt.

It remains to be seen if Ederson even features in the match, having missed Sunday's Premier League finale.

He suffered a small fracture to his eye socket in the 2-0 win at Tottenham this month.

And after being subbed, he reacted furiously by kicking a water bottle in front of Guardiola.

Ederson then watched City's final day win against West Ham from the stands - while wearing a T-shirt with his OWN face on the front.

Whether the clothing was a bizarre hint at an uncertain future with City is unclear.

But Stefan Ortega is ready to step between the sticks yet again, with Guardiola recently declaring his No2 to be "one of the best goalkeepers I’ve seen in my life" at one-on-ones.

Ederson's career stats

Those numbers in full:

  • Ribeirao, 2011-2012: 30 games
  • Rio Ave, 2012-2015: 63 games
  • Benfica, 2015-2017: 56 games
  • Man City, 2017-2024: 332 games
  • Brazil, 2017-2023: 25 goals
  • Trophies: Primeira Liga, Portuguese Cup, League Cup (Benfica); Premier League x6, FA Cup x2, Carabao Cup x4, Community Shield x2, Champions League, uefa Super Cup, Club World Cup (Man City); Copa America (Brazil)

There are already several top goalies playing in Saudi, including former Chelsea star Edouard Mendy and ex-Sevilla man Yassine Bounou.

Ederson joined City in 2017 from Benfica for £35million and became an instant success.

His bravery at rushing out and impeccable foot work made him the ideal stopper for Guardiola's possession tactics.

As well as his six titles, Ederson has also won four Carabao Cups, two FA Cups and the Champions League during his time in England.

Despite being a key man for City though, he has remained second choice for Brazil behind Liverpool rival Alisson.

Ederson has just 25 caps for his country compared to Alisson's 63.

But he has enjoyed success at international level too after winning the Copa America in 2019.
