EAMONN Holmes has backed his close pal Daley Thompson for Big Brother glory while hinting he’s got a darker side.
Presenter Eamonn, 65, shared a photo of the pair at a Not Just Travel event, where they both serve as ambassadors.
In the Instagram post, Eamonn heaped praise on his close friend, calling him a “superman” and tipping him as a potential dark horse in the reality show.
He wrote: “Daley Thompson, superman , super athlete , super friend . He’ll be the Quiet Man of Celebrity Big Brother - until he’s not !”
The sportsman found himself in the first feud of the series last night after snapping at Danny Beard, 32.
Tension began to bubble between the pair after a fiery exchange in the living room left the Drag Race star questioning where they stand.

While rifling through snacks in the storeroom with their co-star Donna Preston, 38, Danny opened up about a moment that clearly rattled them.
Explaining the situation, Danny recalled how they mistakenly thought fellow housemate Mickey was selecting them for something - only for Daley to fire back, “Not everything is about you.”
Reflecting on the awkward moment, Danny told Donna, “I’m overthinking it. I’m gonna totally make an effort with him tomorrow, that’s it.”
But later, in a heart-to-heart with Big Brother in the diary room, the drag superstar revealed the comment left a mark.
Danny shared: “I think I’ve tried to make an effort with everybody. But I heard Daley make a comment like, 'Well not everything revolves around you,' and, I don’t know if I’m overthinking it…
"I can sense or I feel like he’s a bit wary of me and that’s fine cause maybe I’m also a little bit wary of him.”
