It is packed full of goodness, including an "anti-aging powerhouse."

Ranavat (@ranavat), who has 74,000 TikTok followers, is inspired by her Indian background when it comes to her beauty tips.

In this post, she shares the secret behind her glorious mane.

“Your royal ritual for skin and hair. Proven by science. Rooted in ritual," she said.

“This powerful hair smoothie is my secret to healthy hair at 41."

She swore by this recipe, which contained “no dairy, no refined sugar, and tastes really good."

Ranavat considered her concoction to be a "powerful hair growth smoothie for stronger, longer, hair.”

There was a lot of goodness packed into this drink.

What you will need:

  • Chia seeds
  • Flax seeds
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Lotus seeds
  • Almonds
  • Dates

Why you need them:

  • Chia seeds - contain amino acids to prevent hair thinning
  • Flax seeds - increase circulation and prevent breakage
  • Sunflower seeds - a great source of iron
  • Pumpkin seeds - contain oleic and linoleic acid
  • Lotus seeds - high in magnesium and protein
  • Almonds - an "anti-aging powerhouse" for your hair
  • Dates - contain iron and are great for circulation

First, she roasted each ingredient to "release the oils and make them more effective."

She admitted to having a favorite ingredient. The lotus seed.

“It is high in protein, and magnesium and helps strengthen your hair," she said.

Hair smoothie rooted in ancient Indian wisdom

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup Chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup Flax seeds
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup Pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup Lotus seeds
  • 3 Almonds
  • 2 Dates

Method:

  • Roast the seeds
  • Blend the seeds into a powder and set aside
  • Add the almonds and dates to the blender
  • Add a cup of the powder and a cup of water
  • Blend and ready to go

But another ingredient had special mention too.

“Almonds are an anti-aging powerhouse for your hair," she said.

“And we are adding some dates which are great for iron, to help improve circulation of the scalp and aiding hair growth."

She was joined by members of her family and they drank the seed boost with relish.

“It’s a rich luscious smoothie that tastes incredible," she said.
