Posting on TikTok, Casey Major-Bunce, Who is better known as Major Mum Hacks on online revealed one must-know trick for your tumble dryer, as well as two other hacks to save you precious time and money.
Add a dry towel in with your tumble drying

But according to Casey, you can simply "cut drying time in half by using a dry towel."
She said: "It will absorb the majority of the moisture and dry twice as fast!"

You can use any old towel for this hack - don't worry about ruining your favourite guest towels.
The towel will help dry things of much quicker, although it might not be the best for more delicate items.
Add a bed sheet over wet clothes
If you don't have a tumble dryer there are a couple of other ways you can speed up the drying process.
One popular method Casey swears by is to add a dry bedsheet over your clothes airer.
Simply position the airer next to a radiator, drape the sheet over the top and tuck in the edges behind the radiator.
Casey said: "This will dry your clothes in half the time!
"Always leave a window open slightly because of moisture, but I like to pop a dehumidifier at the bottom so it catches any moisture in the air."
Double spin in the washing machine
Double spin for this win - before you even take your wet clothes out of the washing machine change the settings to spin only.
This usually only takes around 15 minutes, depending on your machine, but will give your clothes a huge head start on drying.

The cleaning whizz then explained that she makes a 'dryer closet' by placing a clothes drying rack in a small cupboard.
After hanging her clothes on the dryer she puts a dehumidifier under the drying rack and then closes the cupboard door.
Violet added that she put a strip of foam door sealant along the bottom of the door to create an airtight seal.
