If you are struggling to get through multiple laundry loads, the handy Scandi tool will be perfect for you.

Rather than trying to drape your bedding over the door, this large airer is over a meter long (134cm) and 59cm wide so you’ll have no problem drying your soft furnishings.

The Ikea buy can be easily assembled and has different sections that can be folded down without having to adjust other parts.

Even better, the Frost Drying rack has a huge drying capacity with plenty of space to dry multiple loads - meaning you won’t have to risk your clothes going musty.

And once your washing is done, you can then simply fold it away as the airer collapses down to fit in small spaces – including besides your washing machine.

Unsurprisingly, steel airer has become a huge hit with shoppers and gained over 300 five-star reviews online.

One happy customer backed the manufacturer’s claims, writing: “This has a great capacity for drying clothes and is very compact when folded.”

Another five star reviewer said: “Easy to move from shade to sun or vice-versa and can hang an incredible amount of clothes on it.”

A third also added: “I have several of these dryers. I like their versatility. You can adjust the size/shape (lowering or raising up sections) to meet your particular needs and loads of clothing.”

Shopper aren't just raving about the airer on the Ikea website though, with it also going semi viral on Tiktok.

Self-confessed eco warrior Isabela even made an entire video dedicated to the airer, telling her followers: “It is fully collapsible [and] I really like the different little bars. It’s so easy just to fold down and super thin to store.”

The glowing reviews and clever design aren’t the only reason why we are obsessed with the Ikea find, as it could also save you a small fortune.

With the cost of energy going up and up, many of us are trying to avoid using tumble dryers unless absolutely necessary.

It’s unsurprising as the average cost of running one cycle is £1.54 for a 9kg machine, according to Ideal Home.

For those that haven’t done the maths, this could add an extra £184.44 to year electricity bill – just buy using the tumble dryer twice a week.

Whilst you might be tempted to use it in winter, switching to the large Ikea airer will cost you just £19 – as it uses the residual heat in your home.

With the cost of living crisis forcing all of us to tighten our belts, it seems you can’t afford to miss out on super Swedish find.
