I’m 30 but haven’t aged in 9 years, I sleep ‘like a vampire’ to avoid wrinkles, I struggle every night but it’s worth it
A BEAUTY-ENTHUSIAST has revealed the simple changes to her lifestyle that have kept her looking a decade younger.
She decided to share her anti-aging tips after routinely being mistaken for being in her early 20s.
Isabelle (@isabelle.lux) has garnered over 556,000 followers on TikTok, where she posts skincare hacks and beauty buys.
She took to the social media platform to explain the secret to reversing the signs of aging on the skin.
“This video has been so highly requested on my channel,” she said.
“I’m 30 years old but I really haven’t aged since I was about 21/22 or something like that.”
Isabelle had a youthful glow and seemed to have no fine lines as she revealed what she believes has been the biggest contributor to her age-defying appearance.
“I try to sleep between eight and nine hours every night,” she said.
“It seems like a lot but it’s so important for all your cells to rejuvenate overnight.
“Second thing is I sleep on my back. This is new to me but I’ve done it for the past two to three years.
“I noticed in my mid-20s these little lines were popping up on the side of my eyes and they drove me nuts so I started sleeping like a vampire.
“It’s still literally a struggle every single night but I force myself to sleep on my back and it’s made a huge difference.”
Isabelle admitted that getting a good night’s sleep isn’t the only important thing when it comes to remaining youthful.
“I also drink tons of water and cook all my own food,” she said.
She promised her followers that she would share her skincare regimen and exercise routine in the future.
The TikToker, who was born in 1991, went viral with her video racking up over 406,000 likes.
She claimed to have never had any Botox or filler and said sleeping with a pillow under her back instead of her neck helps to stop her from sleeping on her side or stomach.
Many people took to the comment section to share their opinions on the tips and some viewers claimed they didn’t start to visibly age until their 40s.
“I’m 31 but look early 20s, I think it’s just genetics really,” one person wrote.
“I didn’t start aging until I was 47,” another chimed in.
“You lost me at eight to nine hours of sleep, but your skin is goals,” a third said.

“My boyfriend makes fun of me for sleeping like I’m a vampire,” a fourth commented.
“He won’t be laughing when you’re hot at 50,” Isabelle replied.
