‘Rude’ trolls think my husband is my dad – not because of the 25-year age gap but because ‘we look alike’
A WOMAN has spoken out after “rude” trolls thought her husband looked like he could be her father.
Aaliyaa often uses her social media account to share insights into her life as Mrs. L after marrying the love of her life.
In one clip, she urged people not to “give up on love” as their “soulmate probably isn’t born yet”.
Dressed in a white dress while posing with her husband, who donned a striped blue and white shirt, she wrote: “I’m glad we didn’t meet sooner…”
She then posted a photo of her other half in the year 1998, where he wore a white shirt with a waistcoat.
“Him in 1998,” she wrote over this with a sweating emoji.

The next photo was one of her in the same year, where she appeared to be a newborn baby dressed in a blue babygrow.
And while many said they were also in an age-gap relationship, some were baffled.
One person immediately questioned: “That’s not your father?”
Another chimed: "i thought that too they have the same nose or is it just me? lol".
Hitting back at these comment, TikTok user @_aaliyaak shared a second video that she captioned: “yall be trying to eat me up with the “is he your dad” & “she must have daddy issues” comments,” followed by three crying with laughter emojis.
“heres my dad and husband at our annual family Christmas Party,” with a red heart emoji.
In the clip, she first showed a photo of herself posing with her husband and her daughter, followed by a picture of herself with her own father, who looked significantly older.
People flocked to the comments to defend their relationship too, as one person wrote: “whats the age gap? i think you look awesome together, and your husband doesnt seem so much older than you he aged good”.
Another person said: “they envy you my dear...you beautiful together own it,” alongside a heart emoji.
While a third added: “People should really mind their business. Happy for you sis.”
