School urgently evacuated after threatening message is sent to teachers – with parents told to stay away

A SCHOOL has been urgently evacuated after a threatening message was sent to the teachers.

Staff at Matthew Moss High School in Rochdale, Gtr Manchester said they'd received an alarming message over email.

The school took swift action to ensure students' safety.

Parents and members of the public were warned to stay away from the school.

In a post on Twitter, the school said: "Matthew Moss High School have received a threatening message by email and have evacuated the school as a precaution all learners and staff are safe and the police are in attendance.

"Please do not travel to the school at this time to allow police and staff to manage the situation."
