Prince Harry branded ‘ridiculous’ for ‘always blaming someone else’ after accusing Queen’s aide over Megxit security row
PRINCE Harry has been branded "ridiculous" for "always blaming someone else" in his row over security in the lead up to Megxit.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, has claimed he was "forced" out of the UK because of an argument over who would fund the mammoth security operation needed to keep his family safe.
In his bombshell autobiography Spare, Harry claimed the Queen's private secretary Sir Edward Young had acted as a wedge between him and the Royal family.
Omid Scobie's new royal biography goes further, accusing Sir Edward - now King Charles' aid - of "gaslighting" him over access to his family during discussions on the public funding of his security detail.
But newly emerged letters have revealed the senior aide actually played a big role in trying to ensure Harry and Meghan Markle had “effective security” while in the UK.
And royal expert Angela Levin has slammed the Duke for being "ridiculous".

She added: “Harry’s always blaming somebody else."
In his autobiography Spare, Harry claimed there were "significant tensions" between him and Sir Edward, who he nicknamed "The Bee" because he was “oval-faced and fuzzy".
He went on to write the aide "tended to glide around with great equanimity and poise, as if he was a boon to all living things”.
He blamed Sir Edward for not letting him see his grandmother, writing: "Who was he to try to block me?"
But it has since been revealed that Her Majesty did want Harry and Meghan to have protection in the UK - in an old letter written by Sir Edward, reported the Daily Telegraph.
The 39-year-old is currently in court challenging the decision to downgrade his publicly-funded security detail after he quit as a working royal in 2020.
A letter Sir Edward wrote to Sir Mark Sedwill explained how keeping the Sussexes safe was “of paramount importance to Her Majesty and her family”.
In court in July last year, Harry tried to stop Sir Edward from being involved in the proceedings as they had "significant tensions".
Expert Ms Levin has now blasted Harry's unfairness at blaming one man for the decision not to supply his family with paid-for protection.
Angela told The Sun: “He takes any chance he’s got to attack not just the Royal Family, but those who devote their lives to them, too.
“He wants to destroy them - there’s no doubt that’s his aim.
“He looks ridiculous but ridiculous people you can laugh at - you can’t laugh at him."
She said that Sir Edward was one of the many people who Harry picked at in Spare, adding: “He did, he was rude about him.
“He attacks people that don’t reply - people on the staff don’t reply because of their loyalty to the monarchy.
“Harry’s always blaming somebody else."
The Sun has approached the Sussexes for comment.
The Prince even claimed on Thursday that he was "forced to leave" his UK home as he waged a battle over his security.
The statement differs from one Harry and Meghan wrote in January 2020 - at the time of their Megxit departure - which said they "chose" to leave rather than were "forced".
In court lawyers argued the change meant there would still be publicly-funded police security for Prince Harry, but they would be "bespoke arrangements, specifically tailored to him", rather than the automatic security full-time working royals expect.
The case is expected to go to trial next year.

It comes as King Charles is refusing to let himself be “emotionally blackmailed” by Prince Harry over the ‘royal race row’ scandal, The Sun can reveal.
A Dutch version of Omid Scobie’s book Endgame named the King as one of “two identities” Meghan accused of raising “concerns” about the colour of Archie’s skin.
