WE'RE all looking for ways to make ourselves look younger - with make-up an important tool to do so.
But one make-up artist has revealed there's one product that could actually be adding years to your appearance.
“The majority of us will be using make-up to help improve how we look, or even help cover up some of the wrinkles we’ve gained over the years," Wayne Goss, whose First Edition Collection of brushes were a sell out when they were released last year, said.
"However, due to some mistakes, the make-up that we’re wearing could actually be doing the opposite effect, and could potentially be adding not just one or two, but up to ten years to our face."
One of the main ways that women make themselves look older is by using metallic eyeshadows.
"Instead, opt for a matte," Wayne said.

"Matte generally works best as it doesn’t draw attention to wrinkled areas or creases.
"Powder is also easier to apply over creams".
And always use a brush to apply the eyeshadow too.
"Never blend eyeshadow with a finger - good quality brushes are made with the intention to blend well with hooded eyelids and fine lines," Wayne added.
When it comes to a base, it's important to make sure your skin is hydrated - and it's always a good idea to use a primer.
"Look for make-up with ingredients such as hyaluronic acid when you’re on your next make-up and skincare shopping haul to ensure that your products are keeping your skin hydrated," Wayne explained.
"Use a good primer before you start applying your make-up to ensure it'll act as a barrier between your skin and your make-up to help the make-up stay in the right places all day, rather than just in the fine lines."
And it's vital that you choose the right concealer shade for your skin shade.
"Generally speaking, people may go too light around the eyes with their concealer which can add years to your face, so its really important to get the colour that suits your skin tone," Wayne, who boasts over four million YouTube followers, said.
"Cream concealer is always recommended above liquids, and I’d highly recommend applying some on the inner corner of your eye, as that’s the one part of the eye that doesn’t crease."
