Tony Bellew reveals reason he refused to quit show after emotional reunion with wife Racheal on I’m A Celeb
TONY Bellew has revealed what stopped him quitting I'm a Celebrity after his emotional reunion with wife Rachael.
Rachael, 40, surprised boxer Tony, 41, last week when the I'm a Celebrity campmates were treated to brief visits from someone from the outside.
He broke down in tears at the sight of his wife and now Tony - who shares sons Corey, 18, Cobey, 15, Carter, 11, and Carson, three, with Rachael - has told how he initially wanted to walk out with her.
Speaking to Susanna Reid and Ed Balls on today's Good Morning Britain, Tony said: "I'm not gonna lie, guys. When Rachael appeared in the jungle it took me by complete surprise and it just broke me.
"I wanted to just walk out and leave with her. It was only her telling me 'you can't just walk out'. If I would've walked out it would've been such a disappointment because my kids would've seen their dad quit and I've never quit anything.
"She said 'you've gotta go and they want you to go all the way'. So I was like 'ok, I'm staying'. But it broke my heart to leave her again."

Tony has been with Rachael since he was 18 and the couple tied the knot in 2018 in a private, low-key ceremony in Cheshire’s Peckforton Castle.
And an insider previously told The Sun of their relationship: "Because he's been with her since they were teenagers, Rachael's extremely confident and assured about her place in the relationship and there's no doubt she's the one who wears the trousers.
“In truth, he may be the breadwinner, but she's the one who runs the ship behind closed doors and that's the way he likes it.
“Tony has a very simple philosophy about his private life - he doesn't need all the trappings of fame because he has everything he needs in Rach.”
