Mum divides opinion by leaving ‘chore list’ for her son’s babysitter & people can’t decide if it’s a ‘good idea or not’
A MUM has divided opinion after sharing how she left a "chore list" for her son's babysitter.
Katrina decided to leave a list of optional jobs that the sitter could do to earn more cash on her evening of work.
"You are more than welcome to hang out and watch TV all night, but if you want to make some extra $, these jobs are up for grabs," she wrote at the top of the note, which she shared on TikTok.
Jobs included cleaning glass mirrors and scrubbing the inside of the fridge, and each had a monetary amount next to it, from £2.30 to £12.
"Just let me know if you decided to do any of these and the grand total I owe you on top of the babysitting money," Katrina added.
"Thanks for being here."

Explaining her decision to leave the note in the caption for the TikTok slideshow, Katrina said: "I am a teacher and I have a small business that is in the busy season.
"Little things have been let go for too long.
"If my sitter decides to do this, I'll be forever grateful.
"If not, I'll get to it later like I already had planned."
She also asked people to have their say on whether the note was a "good idea or not".
And they certainly didn't hold back in the comments section, with many insisting the amounts were too low for what Katrina was asking the sitter to do.
"With how messy your house is you’d better double those amounts…." one wrote.
"Those are 1990 prices," another insisted.
To which Katrina replied: "I’m paying her £60 ($75) to babysit when my son is already asleep plus any of this on top of it.
"What do you think would be a more fair price?"
"£12 ($15) to remove all that food from the fridge, scrub it, then load it back up?" a third wrote.
"That’s way low and justifying it by saying you’re already paying for the babysitting is just taking advantage."
"I think £8 ($10) is too cheap for some of these tasks considering the amount of work/size of the mess," someone else agreed.
With Katrina responding: "I’ll definitely be restructuring the prices to make this more fair in the future.
"Thanks for the advice."
Others insisted they loved Katrina's approach and the decision to leave the note.
"The babysitter isn't being forced or expected to clean," one wrote.
"They could clean just 1 thing and make an extra £8!"
"I think this is a great opportunity for your babysitter," another added.
"You’re giving a choice, and I love that."
"This is a great idea!!" a third agreed.
"Sometimes it’s boring to just to sit and watch tv, this makes time go by quicker and sometimes it’s things I would do to help."
