‘Omg, I need this’ say foodies after spotting a brand new drink in Aldi – & it’s hit the shelves just in time for Easter
WITH Easter just around the corner, many brands have launched a number of new sweet treats - and if you love chocolate eggs, this bargain is not the one to miss.
According to foodies, you can now treat yourself to Easter chocolate eggs in the form of your favourite tipple - yes, really.
The popular discount store Aldi - which was announced to be ''the cheapest supermarket'' in 2023 - recently delighted its an egg-stra special treat in time for Easter.
The supermarket has now introduced a limited edition alcoholic beverage that tastes exactly like the iconic and cult favourite Cadbury Creme Eggs.
Their very own Limited Edition Ballycastle Chocolate Crème is a blend of smooth Irish Cream brimming with hints of chocolate and sweet vanilla, and it's the perfect drink for some festive indulgence.
Priced at £7.69 for a 70cl bottle, this brilliant bevvy hits the store shelves alongside other Easter-themed deals, such as their budget-friendly kids' Easter eggs for a mere 99p, as well as a range of Easter egg hunt essentials.

However, if you want to get your hands on the bottle - which comes in the signature purple - yellow and red colours, we advise you to best be quick.
According to Aldi, this limited edition will only be available for purchasing until stock lasts - and the sweet tipple has already become all the rage on TikTok.
One foodie, @newfoodsuk_official, took to the popular platform to share their honest thoughts on the £7.69 bevvy - and after topping it off with some Easter treats, the verdict was positive.
''Spot on! Tastes just like Creme Eggs!''
Sharing their opinion, the delighted customer also added that the tipple could be a dupe to posh Baileys, as in their eyes, it was the ''same thing''.
After hearing about the news, hundreds of fellow foodies raced to comments, where many tagged their friends and family.
One advised how to make the chocolate beverage even better, writing: ''Shove the creme egg in the freezer first and use that instead of ice to chill it.''
Someone couldn't wait to give the drink a go, adding: ''Omg I need this!''
''I have the white chocolate, it’s amazing,'' a third chimed in.
''I need this in my life!'' another penned.
''Take my money!'' a shopper will be racing to the nearest store.
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented: "Aldi's latest offering is a clever twist on Easter indulgence, combining the nostalgic flavors of Cadbury Creme Eggs with the adult appeal of Irish cream.
''It's an inventive way to enjoy the seasonal flavoUrs, and at such an attractive price, it's sure to be a hit among shoppers looking for something special to add to their Easter celebrations."
