And a new arrival has green-fingered customers even more excited because it can be used outdoors or indoors.

Sharing a snap of the three-tier plant stand on  Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group - which boasts 2.4million members -, one shopper said: "Plant standing 3 pieces only £9.99 in Aldi."

Thanks to its weatherproof powder coating, the stand can withstand any summer showers, and will look just as good in your living room.

Aldi bosses say: "Style your plants with this Belavi Indoor/Outdoor Plant Stand.

"Can be used to decorate your hallways or even as a patio feature.

"Wherever you feel is the perfect location, you know they will stand out in style."

By comparison, the Olivblad three- tier black plant stand in IKEA that can be used both indoors and outdoors is priced at £22.

After seeing the Aldi version, one gutted shopper said: "I just bought the same one from Ikea for £22 last week", accompanied by crying emojis.

How to get the best deals at Aldi

And other shoppers are desperate to get their hands on the cheaper number.

"Omg this is what I need", gushed one.

A second wrote: "I’ve been looking for something like this for my bathroom, thank you so much."

A third said: "I want this please."

"Lush for the garden", chimed in someone else.

Another simply said "this is cute" while a sixth joked: "That's nice and would make room for more plants."

If this has made you grab your keys to race to your nearest store, here's all the bargains launching in Aldi middle aisle this week – with £3.49 candles and party string lights for under a fiver.

From gardening essentials to summer party must-haves, there are plenty of deals you'll want to get your hands on sooner rather than later.

And there's one bargain buy that will even look perfect on the black plant stand.

The Spring Alpine Collection will look stunning in any outdoor space.

Whether you're just staring your green-fingered journey, or you're a gardening whizz, the plants are sure to add some colour to your borders or patio this summer.

Why do you always spend loads in Aldi's famous middle aisle?

By Kate Kulniece

Denise Van Outen paired up with Channel 4 in their latest programme, Secrets of the Middle Aisle to uncover why you always spend loads in Lidl & Aldi's famous middle aisle.

''You pop in for a pint of milk and pick up… a paddle board,'' the TV presenter said.

This, turns out, is ''absolutely essential'' for these German giants who've become so popular across the world.

Retail consultant and author, Miya Knights, said it's all about the element of surprise - you never know what you're going to stumble across whilst walking around the store.

''The product assortment and the arrangements that they stock constantly change.''

''What Aldi and Lidl do is they give other customers the opportunity to engage sometimes with some products that we might not necessarily be able to buy otherwise if it wasn't for them,'' added retail analyst Kate Hardcastle.

''What they do is allow us almost a democratisation of bringing those goods into our homes.''
